Review from Janette A (Sister of Resident) published on 12 April 2024

My sister has been a resident of both the Blackburn and Blackpool care homes for several years.

She suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and the relaxed environment at Blackburn, where she is currently living is ideal for her.

There is a very homely feel to the place and she is kept warm, clean, well-fed, and cared for.

All the staff are exceptionally kind to her and she appears to be happy and settled.

At this stage of her life, what more could I ask for?

Review from Nick B (Son of Resident) published on 31 January 2024

My father received first-class care throughout his time at the care home, from fully trained compassionate staff.

The care home is very well managed and presents spotlessly clean at all times.

The living environment is very welcoming.

Review from N H (Friend of Resident) published on 1 December 2023

After a family friend went in, I visited the home.

I was surprised how homely it felt instantly, making my visit relaxed and enjoyable. We were asked if we wanted to use a room to be more private but it was nice to allow them to remain with the other residents as they were getting used to them and their new surroundings, the staff seemed to be very attentive.

I couldn’t really complain.

Review from D K (Nephew of Resident) published on 17 January 2023

I was really amazed at how well this nursing home is run.

Everything is very clean, staff are polite and professional.

My auntie loves staying there, she thinks she’s on holiday.

Lots of fresh air and great food.

Review from R H (Daughter of Resident) published on 28 October 2022

A lovely welcoming care home a cosy experience.

My father really enjoyed the home-cooked food and the 24 hours care with nothing too much trouble with the friendly thoughtful, patient staff.

A thoroughly great time to relax and enjoy a small ‘family’ experience for a long or short break of respite care.

Review from S M (Daughter of Resident) published on 2 May 2022

All the staff are friendly, caring, and helpful.

Nothing is too much trouble.

The home has a lovely homely atmosphere.
