Join us at Feng Shui House, Blackburn
Feng Shui House offers all residents the opportunity to take part in a range of activities that they find interesting and stimulating. We not only want you to feel comfortable and safe, we want you to enjoy your life with us by having the freedom to do as you wish.
Feng Shui House Care plan
Each resident will be given a personalised and in depth care plan, which will include your life history, social network and preferred activities and hobbies. We regularly review this care plan to ensure your needs are adequately met. We put together the care plan so we can support you in your daily life – offering tailored activities and assisting you with social meetings.
We actively encourage each prospective resident to come and visit us prior to admission in order to ensure everything is to his or her liking. We will show you around the care home, and you’ll also have the opportunity to meet our guests and staff.
Our Home Manager will discuss your personal preferences and any particular needs you may have. It’s essential we have this conversation in order for us to assess whether this is the correct environment for you. Our priority is your personal safety.
GPs from local surgeries are able to visit the home either on a regular basis or by appointment. You can choose to use your own GP or alternatively, we can introduce you to a local practice.
Freedom of Choice Part of our ethos at Feng Shui House is for our guests to live exactly how they wish. You choose when to get up, when to go to bed, when to eat, what to eat and any activities you wish to join in with.
Privacy and Respect
It is of upmost importance that all residents are treated with respect and privacy. Our staff are dedicated, well-trained and above all, friendly and caring to our residents.
We will address you by the name you wish and will always knock before entering your room. We respect your right to spend time alone and undisturbed if you wish. Above all, we will treat you in a friendly and civilized manner.
